Jim Kacian is a poet, publisher, tennis professional, and kayaker living in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He is owner of Red Moon Press, cofounder of the World Haiku Association, former editor of Frogpond, the international journal of the Haiku Society of America, and is in the process of creating The Red Moon Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the study and transmission of haiku mind.
